Wendy Addo, known by her stage name Wendy Shay, has appealed to the president Nana Addo to have a meeting with her over what she calls injustices in the creative industry towards female artists.
She said no female artist have been invited to the jubilee house since Nana Addo took over as president of the state.w
The artist took to Twitter to make the appeal. Some Ghanaian have expressed misgivings on her request, though.

The president has in the past giving audience to several male artists such as Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. However, it is not yet known, if he will respond positively to Wendy Shay’s request.
