*Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind.* – Leonardo da Vinci
Good morning fellow citizens. Kindly permit me to engage you this morning for a few minutes of your time.
It is said, every obstacle yield to stern resolve.
How come that, anytime we find distress in the economy our only option is to seek international help?
I’m referring to the Bretton Woods and the capital markets!
Are we no more capable of managing our own affairs as a people?.
Wait a minute! Just some 27 months ago, then candidate Akuffo Addo and his so called economic management team led by Dr Mamundu Bawumia were trumpeting how eager they were willing to reverse Ghana’s unemployment and weak cedi performance should they come to power.
Remember, the surrogates *occupyGhana* and #letmyvotecount demos?
What has actually happened since taking office? Nothing, just that we see more distress and abysmal leadership!
The Government can’t provide the basic needs of our people without spending millions of dollars. They just have no idea how things are done in an austere economy.
Ghana is currently facing cost of living crisis, and yet all we hear are the rhetorics of long but painful speeches.
In fact, the government is failing on energy management, education and job creations.
The era of #Dumkra has come to stay. Are we now in a #Dumsor economy too, Dr Bawumia?
Embrace yourself for more distractions as the central bank continues to print more money under the disguise of making our cedi more durable and secured.
The fact is, they care more about elections than our daily welfare.
The government is printing more money for their 2020 elections.
Why should businesses collapse due to the gross incompetence of President Nana Addo and his Vice President Bawumia?.
Many unsecured employees and employments have been lost because of the further decline in the cedi’s value and bad economic policies of this book long, but no practical experience government.
Vice President Bawumia has said, the IMF pack was to blame for the weakness in the cedi. What he failed to say was that any serious economist and analyst would have made the necessary provisions to minimum the potential impact on. the cedis fall to the local jobs and businesses.
Running town hall meetings across the globe is a clear waste of public money if the government can’t show the number of jobs created so far.
Nurses, teachers, prison services, our universities and you the ordinary citizens are all crying.
The hardship is real.
Aren’t you tired of this incompetent and over bloated government?
Thank you.
#GhanaFirst
