The people who consisted of politicians, constituents and family members of the former MP asked that she drop the case.
Their plea follows a lawsuit filed by lawyers of the former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection.
They had filed a suit against Afia Schwarzenegger, Appiah Stadium and Debora Edith Chibhamu who is known to be the former girlfriend of fashion designer Elikem.
The Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is set to invite Appiah Stadium to assist in investigating a charge of invasion of privacy lodged against him by the former legislator.
Appiah Stadium had reportedly called Ms. Appoh on phone using former president John Mahama’s name, recorded the conversation and allegedly sold it to Afia Schwar for GHC1,000.
Also on the invitation list of the BNI and the police CID is one Debora Edith Chibhamu aka Queen Dee, the alleged former sugar mummy of Elikem Kumordzie, the man at the centre of this controversy.
Edith, currently based in Dubai had among other things also accused the former MP of running an abortion clinic. The suit followed a recent allegation made against Rachel Appoh by Afia Schwar and Debora Edith.
According to them, the former MP is having a secret relationship with former Big Brother contestant Elikem Kumodjie.
Rachel Appoh has however denied the allegation, claiming that Afia Schwar was bribed to dent her image.
