Former Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Rachel Appoh, has refuted claims that she once dated Actor and Fashion designer Elikem Kumordzie.
The former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social protection described her relationship with the actor as strictly professional adding that the two are merely business partners.
“Elikem’s family and mine are friends and so we decided to do business together, I am the executive producer of ‘Ahenfie’ court and he is the producer, that’s about it, nothing more, anything less,” she said.
Television personality Afia Schwarzenegger few weeks ago alleged that the former MP and Elikem were once in a sexual relationship which ended on a sour note.
Afia leaked chats which sought to suggest that the former Deputy Minister for Gender and Elikem Kumordzie once made love subsequent to the actor ‘dumping’ her.
But reacting to these rumors, Rachel Appoh said, “there is no need paying heed to frivolous rumors”.
In an interview monitored by The Ghana Report, Rachel said, she has no intentions of contesting the 2020 general elections as her focus now is making sure the NDC flagbearer wins power in the elections.
“I have no intentions of contesting the upcoming elections, my focus now is working to make sure J.D Mahama wins power,” she said.
