We remember how several Ghanaians trolled Pappy Kojo in 2016 when he won no award at the VGMAs that year after he had four nominations.
He was at the peak of his career at the time and for such a moment, almost everyone in his shoes would have broken down.
Pappy Kojo revealed that the unfortunate incident nearly turned him into a chain smoker.
In a recent twitter post, Pappy revealed something he had never said in public about his “zero” VGMAs in 2016.
In an interview Pappy had with Delay on the Delay Show sometime in 2018, he confessed how people trolled him on Twitter. He said,
“When I Got Nominated (Sic) Three Times And I Didn’t Win, I Couldn’t Handle It. I Have Always Been A Troll On Twitter But Karma Happened. I Was Going Through Depression. It Was Very Bad. I Wouldn’t Go Out And Won’t Go To Shows. I Was Always Indoors In Italy. I Was Smoking A Lot,” The Rapper Revealed In An Interview With Delay.
It seems Pappy still remembers all that he went through in 2016. We wish him the best of luck in the coming years though.
