- A group Known as the “Loyal supporters” has picked the nomination forms for Hon. Nana Alexander Ababio to contest the Parliamentary seat in the Tain constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The aforementioned group thronged the NPP office in Tain in the Bono Region to pick up the nomination forms on behalf of Alexander Ababio to contest the forthcoming parliamentary elections come 2024.
The group after picking the forms indicated that Hon. Ababio, a young politician, has long been seen as a light of change and growth in the Tain Constituency thus he deserves to be given the nod to contest and win massively for the NPP without rancor.
The group on Tuesday July 18, 2023, gathered at the constituency party office to receive the nomination forms on behalf of the parliamentary candidate who they believe he will unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament in the area.
According to Mr. Sie Sampson popularly known as Shamoo, who is the leader of Hon. Ababio’s campaign team disclosed that, Mr Ababio is the only candidate that can transform the Tain Constituency if given the mandate as an MP because he has an attributes that’s required to drive genuine change in the Tain constituency.
In an exclusive interview with the media , Mr Sampson stated that because of the aspiring candidate’s impregnable love and loyalty to the party and the residents in the constituency, they were able to organized and accumulate a whopping amount of GH₵3,000 to pick the nomination forms for Hon. Alexander Ababio to contest the seat.
“Ababio is a kind person, he doesn’t discriminate being your tribe or religious denomination or even party dimensions, and he supports everyone who is in need no matter your background or political affiliation. The love Ababio has been showing us in the Tain constituency is just unimaginable, paying of school fees, building infrastructures for schools and health facilities, caring for the vulnerable and creating jobs for the unemployed ignites the exert to glean the pecuniary of the amount of the nomination forms, ”he noted.
He appealed to the delegates in the constituency to vote for massively for Hon.Alexander Ababio in the party’s impending parliamentary primaries to win and also win the Parliamentary elections.
Addressing the delegates, he said Mr Ababio is very generous and generally exhibits respect for everyone in the constituency, including supporting the youths to get jobs for their livelihoods.
He stressed that ,Mr Ababio is the only candidate who can deflate Mr Ramzy Adama’s supremacy, adding that the delegates should give him the nod to lead the party.
In the heels to file the forms for Hon.Alexander Ababio, all the leaders of the four (4) zones in Tain: namely, Nsawkaw, Badu, Seikwa and zone 4 in the NPP were in attendance.
