Three judges of the Ghana’s High Court have been sacked over their involvement in bribery scandals which was exposed by the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. This was confirmed by a statement signed by the communication head at the presidency. The justices sacked are Paul Dery, Mustapha Logoh and Ayisi Addo.
The three justices were caught on tape and with some other judges in the lower courts receiving bribes to throw dismiss some cases brought before them.
A committee set up by then chief justice of the republic of Ghana, Georgina Theodora Wood recommended their dismissal to President Akufo-Addo.
It will be recalled that the high court judges were suspended in 2015 following the ace journalists story.
