With his root from Sekondi, a US-based Ghanaian rapper, Joel ‘Jay Gunz’ was killed in a shooting on Sunday.
A statement from the New York Police Department (NYPD) on twitter said, “On Sunday, July 5th, Police Officers from the 44 Precinct responded to a 911 call for a male shot at 306 East 171 Street. Upon arrival, they discovered three males with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, later died from their injuries, while one remains hospitalized.”
The police have offered up to $2500.00 USD to anyone one with potential information in to assist them in this homicide enquiry
The police showed the footage of the shooting as part of the campaign to get more information from the public.

Sadly, rapper Gunz was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other person who died at the St. Barnabas Hospital was Eno (Edubb), who is a Nigerian.
