The Institute for Energy Security (IES) has projected that fuel prices of fuel prices on the local market is expected to drop by up to 5% in the second pricing window of June, 2019.
A release issued and signed by Research Analyst of IES, Mikdad Mohammed attributed the projected in price to a fall in Brent Crude price by 9.50%, Gasoline by 14.86% and Gasoil by 10.88%.
The release advised fuel consumer to look out for competitive prices in their choice of a fuel retail outlet and called on the GSA and the NPA to intensify their monitoring of the fuel retail market to ensure Ghanaians get quality fuel at their money’s worth.
