An indian owned hotel operating in one of West Africa’s business capital’s is alleged of condoning sexual misconducts and breaking the law. Atlantic Hotels, located at 4, Adeleke Adedoyin Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, have allegedly sacked a female staff for blowing the whistle on sexual harassment.
Sources say some staff at the Atlantic Hotels have accused the management of sacking a female worker, Grace (Not real name), after she was sexually harassed by one Sanjiv Raut, a cooking staff and an Indian national.
Raut had gone into the lady’s room while she was sleeping and attempted to rape her but was overpowered by her. According to the victims account, she pushed him to the wall, gave him a slap and ran out of the room.
