Ghana received 37.6 tons of medical supplies from China on Monday to aid in its fight against COVID-19.
The supply marked the successful completion of China’s assistance to 18 countries across Central and West Africa in efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, CGTN.com reports.
Ghana is one of 52 African countries that have recorded COVID-19 cases.
The African continent has confirmed COVID-19 cases have surpassed 9,000, with over 400 deaths.
Equally, over 800 patients have recovered.
