The Central Regional Health Directorate has identified 13 persons who came into contact with a 52-year old man who is said to have tested positive for the Coronavirus in the Central Region.
According to the Central Regional Health Director, Dr Akosua Owusu Sarpong, those persons have been asked to self-isolate.
She told the media on Wednesday that the directorate has also identified a place to quarantine those living with families in small apartments.
The Central Region on Wednesday recorded its first case of the Coronavirus.
The patient is said to have travelled to the United Kingdom and returned to Ghana on March 17, 2020.
