A former party chairman of the New Patriotic Party who is currently president Akuffo Addo’s campaign manager, Mr Peter Mac Manu has been admitted at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital upon testing positive with Covid-19.
With him on admission is the current deputy minister of trade, Mr Carlos Ahenkorah.
Carlos Ahenkorah recently went through primaries to represent the people of Tema West constituency.
With the passing of the New Patriotic Party’s Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman, Late Sam Cudjoe on 26th June, and yesterday’s passing of Sir John, who once served the party as general secretary, Ghanaians are wondering if the government will stop this voters registration exercise.
Reports also say two deputy minister are receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), adomonline reports.
Clearly, the rise in coronavirus cases which is almost about 18,000 now must compel the ruling party to rethink their strategy.
