Free Web Hosting (FWH), which launched in August 2018 in Zimbabwe, has extended its services to neighbouring South Africa.
FWH enables individuals and companies to move existing websites from paid hosting and allows new registrations of domains at a very low cost.
Domain names can be purchased from the portal using Ecocash with no need for a Mastercard.
The basic FWH website amenities include 1 GB of disk space, 5 GB bandwidth, five e-mail accounts, one structured language query (SQL) data base and free SSL certification.
Affordable paid hosting is available for larger resource requirements. The launch in South Africa aims to promote small businesses and make them profitable by lowering costs.
