Investigative Journalist with EIB Network and based in the Upper East Region, Edward Adeti has shockingly revealed in an interview he granted Bolgatanga-based A 1 Radio the identity of the high profile personality who is seeking to end his life.
The journalist who conducted series of investigations last year, believes the person may have been affected as a result and therefore has contracted assassins to kill him or abduct his family as a way of shutting him up for good.
But he has promised that he is not a coward and would not be cowed into submission by the evil machinations of these individuals who have been threatening his life for sometime now.
“They mentioned the one who is said to have contracted them, they mentioned him. I know and the police are aware of the person and it wouldn’t come out in the public domain now. Names which are not supposed to come out to the public are known to the police and are been kept from the public domain, those names are there. The person as to whether he is in the region, I can’t tell and to how far the police are close to him or how the police are close to him or behind him, I cannot tell but this is what I’ve been told from Police Detectives from within”
“ I can tell you plainly and confidently that a call has been placed to that person, this person is a high profile figure so I will not expect him to respond quickly as an ordinary person will respond”, he revealed during the interview.

It would be recalled that in April last year, Former Upper East Regional Minister Rockson Ayine Bukari came under media frenzy after a telephone conversation on an attempt to bribe the Edward Adeti to ‘kill’ a story about a judge went viral on social media and main stream media.
Edward Adeti, confirmed recording the telephone conversation but denied leaking it to the public.
According to him, a copy of the tape was given to the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), Ghana Police Service and some Lawyers who double as counsels for Cassius Mining Limited, an Australian Mining Company that is operating in the Talensi District of the Upper East region and in court with Shaanxi Mining Company, a Chinese company also operating in the area
