Ghanaian based and UK-born afrobeat artiste, Fantana has said that based her research done on the Ghanaian music scene, she would love to have a collaboration with one big act.
Speaking in an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo’, she mentioned:
“I will love to have a feature with Dance hall artiste and the King of Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale before any other collaborations. That doesn’t mean I won’t collaborate with other artistes but I will really love to do this feature before any other”.
She continued “aside SM King Shatta Wale, I will appreciate a feature with Stonebwoy, Medikal and others who are interested in doing features with me and vice versa”.
She added that she also supports all the female artistes in the industry. Fantana made mention of a few female artistes she admires-Sister Afia, Efya, and Wendy Shay.
Hearing people compare me to the late Ebony Reigns is because they see similarities and I don’t take it the wrong way but rather I appreciate it as a compliment and have to work hard to maintain that view of the public since its obvious I’m been accepted into the industry as one of their own.
