Veolia Environnement SA (VIE.FR) said Monday it has signed a contract with gold producer AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. (ANG.JO) for water treatment in Ghana.
Under the three-year agreement, Veolia’s subsidiary Veolia Ghana Limited will operate and maintain the water-treatment plants at AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi gold mine in Ghana, it said.
The company didn’t disclose the financial details of the deal.
