Two senior officials within the Akuffo Addo government have been reported to the police over their involvement in the missing 500 excavators ceased from the galamsey operation.
Professor Frimpong Boateng, who doubles as the minister of environment, science and technology and the head of Galamstop committee is alleged to have been compromised over the working of the committee.
Similarly, John Boadu, who occupies the chief scribe position of the governing New Patriotic Party, is also alleged to have played a critical role in the galamsey trade.
The pair are to be arrested over their involvement of the missing excavators.
An audio circulating on social media seem to suggest a gruesome misbehaviour of the pair with the embattled central regional vice chairman of the NPP, Ekow Ewusi, who has been arrested in connection with the missing 500 excavators.
