Former President, John Dramani Mahama has donated a sum of GH₵ 10,000 Cedis to the family of the late Asonaba Kweku Darko, popularly known as “Super OD”.
The announcement was made by the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs at the final funeral rites which is being held at Swedru-Abodom in the Central Region.
The former president who is at the funeral of the renowned comedian has received a rapturous welcome from NDC and non-NDC faithfuls at the funeral.
The former president was accompanied by Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Allotey Jacobs, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Deputy General Secretary, Kofi Adams and Appiah Stadium, among other.
